Imperial No.1 in Groton

Just noticed this on Craigslist:

Now, I'm not entirely sure about it: the motorboard seems a little off to me; and judging from the Columbia traveling arm and elbow, it's likely not the Aretino mechanism. But someone might want to look into it....

Something has been altered - I think that at some time someone switched out the motorboard and motor - and the seller says the motor is missing.

I bought several machines an a bunch of cylinders from this seller named Frank. I also looked at this machine while I was in Connecticut. If I remember correctly the arm and reproducer were reproductions and the motor was missing parts. As you said the machine just didn't look right, so I passed on it at $200.00.

True: I received a callback from him today, stating these issues, and decided to pass as well.
On the bright side, the horn looks pretty good...
