A very strange assembly indeed!

The motor is a 4-spring HMV, and the soundbox is an HMV 5a or 5b, but both components are later than the purported style of the machine. The turntable and the (bent) tonearm may also be HMV.

The back bracket looks like Pathé, and the horn looks like the product of an over-active imagination.

A lot of time and effort has clearly been spent creating this machine, but to me it is still a crapophone, albeit an unusually elaborate one.

This is the most interesting crap-o-phone I ever saw. It looks like a lot of time and effort was put into this. It's still a crap-o-phone with no collector value.

I agree- a few old parts but the rest is new. Lots of decals superficially aged with smeary varnish.

Bizarre horn and impressive price. $3,200 must seem like winning the lottery to the average Indian. All it takes is one fool in America.
