Looking for original Model C hinge block (Found)

As of Thursday 3/28/13, this issue has
been solved. Found it. It fits and works right.

The Edison original hinge block is, by the way,
very obviously a machined part. The milling
marks can be seen. It is wider, the threaded
stud is of a larger diameter (still 0-110, but
an official O.D. for that size), and the hinge
pin hole fits the pin much closer than the
repro block's hole, AND...best of all:

The hole for the hinge pin is drilled straight!

Old post:

Looking for a hinge block for a model C
reproducer weight. Just the hinge block.
Already have the hinge pin which screws in to the
weight. I believe this is an original pin.

The diameter of this pin is .0445 inch.

I have now a very poorly made reproduction
hinge block. Looking for an original.

The 0-110 threads in the reproducer top are
original and in good working condition.

So I am looking for an original model C
hinge block that has the 0-110 threaded stud
and a hole that is straight and has a nice
proper fit to the .0445 inch diameter hinge pin.

Anyone out there have an original?
The repro has a very sloppy fit and the hole
was not even drilled straight.

Thanks, Chuck

The original hinge block arrived and it
fits and works perfectly.

It was provided by the gentleman who originally
did the work, so that clears up this entire
issue.
