Here is an interesting accessory I picked up along the way. It's a tone arm and set of listening tubes designed for acoustic stereo pickup. It has a sapphire needle and recommends replacement after hours.

I remember seeing this item in the Lafayette Electronics catalog in the early 1960's. I was always fascinated by this, and would be very eager to know how they sound. It's not just listening tubes, rather it is a complete STEREO acoustic playback system for LP's.
