Columbia Q question

In the lid of the case are two long screws to secure the lid to the base. At present the guides are missing which make it hard to secure the lid. I recently got the two guide pieces, is there a right and a left to these and does the flange (part with 2 holes) go up or down relative to the top of the lid.
Also what is the correct direction of the lid-label faces front?

Howard,
There is no right or left. The flange points out of the lid as per photos.
An excuse to post photos of one of the prettiest small phonographs!.
And yes, the decal faces forward.
Best regards,
Alistair.

Thanks Alistair for posting the pictures. They are pretty little machines!
I have a B and a Q, so now I'll have to mind my B's and Q's.

Howard,
The B is a better machine from a power point of view. Many Qs struggle to finish a record, (and did when new), and since you can't wind them when they are operating it can spoil your enjoyment of the music.

I finally put the guides on last night, now I can actually get the lid secured on the first try!
