Victor VV-2-55 - replacement Handle ?

I picked-up a nice 2-55 at Wayne.

Un-cracked Ortho sound-box, good sound, decent original leatherette.

Unfortunately, the handle has broken where the leather loops wrap around the "D-rings" attached to the machine.

Does anyone know of a source for replacement handles, or a way to repair the original ?

It appears the original loops are inserted into the handle body, then secured with a doubled-ended hollow-rivet ?

:?

Thanks !

I second that suggestion. I've bought several of the handles that attach with a strap and buckle. They are appropriate since that style has been used as a replacement for nearly as long as the originals. They are also stronger than the original. You can only get them in natural tan leather but they can be dyed.
