Will someone help identify a motor?

Does anyone know who is the manufacturer of this motor and when it may have been made? I can recognize all the American, and a few European, but I admit my lack of knowledge on Euro machines (i'm attempting to learn). My guess on age is mid 30's to late 40's. It's in one of those no-name, glass front & side outside horn machines. As a side note, it wiil not keep a consistant speed, even after new main springs, governor weights & pad, cleaning & lubrication.
Any help on this matter would be greatly & humbly appreciated.

Hi:

That appears to be a Thorens motor. Many of the european machines had these motors, but I have also seen them surface in some of the crap-o-phone machines.

All the best,

Jerry

Thanks for the reply Jerry- I thought the same, but it doesn't say so (the few dozen I've seen do) and it lacks the "anchor" in the middle of the cross, although perhaps this predates that "trademark" (?).
