That is quite a number of phonographs! What are your plans for them?

That looks a lot like my garage last summer. I definitely
won't be doing that again...

So what other hobbies do you have?
Seriously, what are you going to do with them? Aside from the space problem, this would feel overwhelming for me.
Good luck!

Jerry, did Dee finally make you clean out "her" side of the garage??...

. At least now she can park her car inside. I'm sure CDBPDX will have these fixed up in no time.

The plan is to repair and restore the ones that can be fixed and part out the rest. It's an eclectic group with Edison, Brunswick, Columbia, Victrola, Mandel, Sonora, Silvertone, Davenola, McLagan, and Bush & Lane models represented. Also in this group was a Model 7 Type A Dictaphone with stand, a complete but non-working Edison C4 radio/phonograph, and an old radio speaker table. I recently retired and am looking for something to do. I figure these should keep me busy for a year or so. I'm opening a Vintage Music Shoppe in Castle Rock, WA soon and this will provide the storage and work space I need for my hobby. Might even sell a machine or two once I get a tax number.

Wow! If you are married I hope you know a reasonably priced divorce lawyer!

I *just* discovered your website, and have been enjoying it immensely! Your transfers are excellent, especially of the foreign recordings. BRAVO!
