Hi All-- Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit an old friend--- Due to some health issues and changes in interests, he sold me his small collection of machines and his MANY cylinder records.--- The machines are mostly common-- Amberola 30, Amb X, Fireside, a couple Ed. Standards and 3 Ed Homes-- The best Home is an E with great striping-- At some point I will get the machines checked out and offer them for sale. There is also a large, original Old Couple dealer's pic in original gold leaf frame. Pretty nice condition. I already have one or I'd be keeping it

Anyway -- there are about 1000 cylinders that have been stored away for decades. I am the first to go through the records in at least 40 years. So far, I've looked closely at about 300-- The vast majority are Blue Amberols (most in really nice shape) and a good mix of artists and musical styles. I also have at least 100 4 min Wax Amberols-- likely more. I haven't looked at these closely yet, but most appear to have OBL and are in good shape.
Before I go the Ebay route, I wanted to ask for "Want Lists" from folks on the Forum. If anyone has specific lists of cylinders they are looking for, PM me with your list. As I go through the records, I'll contact you if I have what you're looking for.
Just FYI-- So far-- No LUNF, No Sophie Tucker, No Roosevelt or other presidents and no Pink Lamberts. However, there are a bunch of very nice records-- I hope I can help fill some want lists--

I've received several replies about wants and "needs". Thanks-- Over the next few weeks I will attempt to catalogue all the records that are in real nice shape, and will email a list to those who want it. I'm having a blast going through the records, but it very time consuming.

I feel your pain, Brad! Last summer I bought a TON of cylinders from an estate of a collector that I'm still nowhere near finished going through. Fun, but VERY time consuming! Good luck and congrats!
