Echophone Phonograph Info Needed

Got an Echophone spring motor phonograph with a Superior Universal reproducer that sounds pretty good with new gaskets, though not on this machine yet.

The only info I can find for Echophone seems to be about electric radio/phonographs. Any info available for the spring motor phonos? Is it related to the later Echophone radio-phono?

Pretty sure it's not an Amet Echophone...

Thanks! CDB

Nope, not an Amet Echophone. Merely one of the bajillions of off-brand phonographs produced between 1916-1924 after the fundamental Victor patents expired. Most of these weren't so much companies, as decal brands sold by various stores.

Haven't started restoration on this one yet, except for gaskets in the reproducer. Might be able to figure out who made it when I see the motor.
