Portable Victrola Restored

I purchased this recently. I am unable to locate a model number. I assume it is from the 30's? The interior finish was very nice but the exterior was ratty. The chrome was discolored/corroded and the vinyl/cloth was torn and loose. I disassembled everything and worked on the exterior cabinet over the weekend. Any info on this machine appreciated. After and before pics attached.

Great job. How did you get that covering look so nice? And the metal looks like new. Is that just the photo or did you re-nickel it?

That's a beauty! Nice job. The RCA in the Victor logo indicates a post-1929-merger date (Victor Talking Machine Co. + Radio Corp. of America = RCA Victor). I'd guess it's from the '30s; so there's no label on it anywhere? Might be concealed under the turntable or in the motor compartment. Unfortunately, the Baumbach books don't include much from the merger date on, nor does the Paul Edie site (
http://www.victor-victrola.com/). Other members will certainly be able to give more information than I can.
BTW, what sound box is on it?
