Great Early Photo of Edison with listening tubes

I saw this photo on a site for Dewitt County in Ill. Has anyone else ever seen this one? I love the folks in this photo. Each one looks like they could tell you some stories. The original poster thought it was taken around 1898 since one of the gents in the picture was born in 1878 and looks to be about 20 year (Second from right)
