Another really nice Berlin Phonograph Company reissue of this cylinder from 1903.

Not bad! Especially considering how poor those AICC recordings were, even for 1903. Of the several versions he recorded of that, that's one of my favorites. His later versions have more control and polish but are relatively bland.
What was the source they used to dub that cylinder from?

Regarding source, best to talk ask Norman at Berlin Phonograph Works. He's a member here but I've not heard much from him lately.

It sounds very clean in any case.

Is this a 2M or 4M cylinder?

It's two minute.

I have that same recording that was dubbed from the AICC cylinder master onto a Pathé disk; it is faint by comparison. No doubt, the new cylinder has benefitted from amplification and probably electric cutting.
