I was wondering on high end players such as the vv xx and perhaps any vtla and the flat lid pooley how much more value does it add to these type of players if they have the correct album boxes

I think the machines are complete when they have albums and, if appropriate, boxes. I didn't think about it much early in collecting but it makes a difference. I would expect to spend several hundred more for the appropriate record containers. Over the years I've purchased several machines that required boxes and through patience have found complete sets. With that said, if I had an opportunity to buy a VV-XX without boxes, I'm still an interested buyer. Jerry Blais
