I own a 1926 Columbia Viva Tonal model 800, which was Columbia's answer to Victor's Credenza. Basically, the 100 models are the portables. The 600 models are the small consolette type floor models. The 700 models are of medium size and the 800 models are the big ones. In 1928 Columbia combined with Kolster radio and started bringing out radio/phono combinations that were all electronic. These are the 900 models. The ones with phonographs were still called Viva-Tonal models. The Viva Tonal line ended in 1929.
