I've never seen a Radiogram quite like this. Can someone tell me more about it? The drop changer is interesting.

The radio is apparently an RGD brand which was British. The record changer is a Garrard RC1 or RC2 (depending on whether the motor is an induction (RC1) or a universal (RC2) type. This was Garrard's first style record changer. It would change 10 or 12 inch records, but only one size could be in the stack at a time. The later RC1A and RC2A were similar, but they would allow the intermix of 10 and 12 inch records in any order. The pickup on this one appears to be an early crystal type, probably dating this set to the mid to late 1930s.

The online RGD Museum at
www.rgd.org.uk will probably have all the information you need.
