Antique RCA Victor Victrola Record Player

The Victor Victrola Credenza (VE8-30X)

Up for sale is an Antique RCA Victrola. I inherited this from my great grandfather. I do not remember ever having this plugged in and tested although it may of been, it was used primarily before I was born in 1973. The serial number on this is VE8-30X 21289. I do not know the date of production on this. I see copyright dates of 1904 and 1906 but I do not think that is the date of manufacture. I have been told by other ebay members that the turntable has been replaced.

This measures:

• Width of 31¼ inches.
• Height 46½ inches
• Depth 22 inches

This appears to be in very good condition. I posted quite a few pictures so you can see for yourself. Please feel free to email if you have any questions. If you would like to see it for yourself, I am off work on Thursday and Sundays and can make an appointment for you to come see it. I will accept payment in cash when you pick this up.

You must give Great Grand-dad props for finding a clever use for an ashtray. Perhaps he intended that this would provide tunes down at the olde Pool Hall and he did not want burn marks in the wood.

It didn't sell last time it was offered (for the same price I think), so I can't see it selling this time either.

LOL, yah we've been talking about the ashtray Credenza since OTVMMB days.

This one has been for sale before. The horn is probably gone too. If something like this were cheap and near me I'd consider picking it up and converting it to record storage.

this machine again... well, at least you can't fault the guy for just trying to sell it, when he at least openly acknowledges its issues... for one, that it's had another turntable installed into it and is not all original or straight from grandpop's attic where it had remained untouched in the same family since 1804 before he stumbled upon it and threw it on ebay.

Refinished antique phonograph cabinet.
Measures 53 tall, 20" wide, 22" deep.
Top cabinet 12 tall x 22 deep.
Bottom cabinet 24 inches tall—slotted for storage of records, magazines.
Top of cabinet opens and stores phonograph.
One of a kind.

Can be seen in Eliot storage unit.
