FOR SALE: Edison Triumph Model A - INQUIRE

There's a lady named Mallory in Phoenix AZ trying to sell a Triumph A with 2/4 minute attachment and a Model O reproducer. No crank, but there are at least 2 extra Model C reproducers, a recorder, a 2-minute mandrel/mainshaft, a small nickel horn, 200 cylinders, and today she added some catalogs. It looks like someone gathered all this stuff together long ago, and who knows what else she has available. If you'd like to contact her directly, go to this link on the Edison Forum:

http://edisonphonos.proboards.com/threa ... -cylinders

She's unsure of value, and I'm reluctant to give an appraisal without either seeing it in person or reading an accurate assessment of condition (styli, feedscrew, etc., and of course the records...). Someone offered her $200 for the machine alone, so either he/she was lowballing or didn't know what the machine was. If any member of this forum lives in the Phoenix area, this would be well worth investigating.

Good luck!

George,

Good show in helping the lady from AZ. Nice to see honest answers an hope she follows through and posts the Triumph on our site - she should get a decent price even if she has to ship it.

Hi George,
I live fairly close to this lady and will contact her-I already have a Triumph D with Music master horn and O reproducer but will help fill her in a bit and see what else she might have.

I was just in Phoenix today (and yesterday)! Wish I would have seen this sooner!
