I just bought my first Graphophone, the Model AT, and am really excited to get it working and restored It is missing a few parts which I am looking for: the slotted crank, the floating reproducer & the trunnion (I think that's the right word).

My trunnion is probably made of pot metal, and has a bad crack in it, as well as the top block piece missing. If someone has a parts machine they could raid this part off of that would be great. It would be best to get the whole part, but if that is not possible only the block piece would be fine

Since you live in Canada google Jean-Paul Agnard. He sells original and reproduction parts for cylinder phonographs. He's a great guy to deal with.

It would be interesting to know whether that AT was originally a "low trunnion" or an early "high trunnion" model. The two appear to be identical, except for the elevated reproducer bracket…

Bill, The earlier fancy case AT, and the one in the model A case came with a low trunnion. These were made from 1898-1903. The later AT came with the high trunnion in 1903-4. The later AT used a case similar in style to the AZ and BK. Some of the earlier AT were retrofitted with the high trunnion. This was either done by a dealer or sent back to the factory.

These pot-metal trunnions are infamous for failing. I wish somebody made quality reproductions, but I have yet to find one. Jean-Paul Agnard might be able to repair yours.

Hi Everybody,
Jean-Paul Agnard does sell a reproduction part, but I am just checking to see if someone happened to have one in their parts box they would be willing to sell for a bit less. It may come to me having to shell out some extra cash for one of these parts.
