Just finished refurbishing a mahogany "L" door VV-XVI Victrola and now I'm trying to get funds together to take a road trip to Missouri. I figure it will cost $700 for gas there and back to Portland. Maybe this will cover that! You can see the VV-XVI here:

I cleaned and greased the springs, put a new leather brake pad on the governor, cleaned, oiled, and adjusted the governor, rebuilt the gold Exhibition reproducer, and cleaned-oiled-waxed the cabinet. Put it all back together and it looks and works great! Has the early bullet brake, round bezel speed knob, an early version of the 3 spring motor, and all the hardware in good condition.

It is in Portland, Oregon.

PM me if interested. Cliff

Cliff,
I would keep that machine, and sell your lesser examples. It's a very nice, historical machine.
