Tea Tray Company Horn Crane

This versatile crane can be used with almost many cylinder phonograph. It slips under the cabinet and is secured with a the front clamp. Does anyone know who made it?
I found the following low resolution image while cleaning my digital archives. I created this several years ago when it was up for sale. It's pictured here on a Standard B with a 30" long horn.

That's a Tea Tray Company No.200, which originally sold for $1.75. The U.S. Patent for this crane was No.944,018 issued to John H.B.Conger. There was an article showing all the Tea Tray Company horn cranes in the September 2011 issue of The Sound Box.

Boy, I'd love to get one of those to go with my Tea-Tray Co. 11-panel pansied horn...

Is it possible to get a copy of that article? I joined the new phonoclub and look forward to good articles like that!

Back issues are available in limited numbers all the way back to 2004. Some issues will soon be unavailable, so if you're considering this, sooner is better than later.

There are reproduction Tea Tray No.228 cranes for sale on eBay (search under "Tea Tray crane"). They're only $99 Buy It Now, and they look perfect from the photos I've seen. They're not mine, nor do I benefit from their sale - - just passing along a tip. They're an excellent alternative to the reproduction Edison cranes.

I just bought one of those cranes. The seller is Justin Schwab(spelling)JAS antiques who goes by lajanus on ebay. These cranes are fantastic. The nickel plating is the same as the older style you see on original parts. He also has a nice reproduction table crane, also just as nice. These cranes are well worth the price.
