One of the first machines I bought was full of religious and old style country music so now I have ALOT of Victor scroll records on the country music genre. I know that victor scroll record are desirable but what about the ones on country music?

Jimmy Rodgers recorded extensively on Victor scroll as did The Carter Family. Another collectible artist is Stuart Hamblen. There is also a host of country string bands like Grayson and Whitter. The desirability of blues and jazz seems to come and go year by year however I find the genre of country-blues to be in constant demand. I base this on the prices they fetch on ebay.

Records by the likes of these are plentiful. I'll buy damn near any Bill Monroe, or Monroe Bros. And you can find 'em cheap.

I suppose some of the country artists and records that still managed to make records during the Depression would be sought after. Things by popular folks like Rodgers and the Carter Family are still around without too much fussin'.

Yea, I bet I got a hundred of those MGM Hank Williams records. I only buy them if they are clean. We have a collector in NC that gets 10.00 each for them. I used to let him s@#t me until I learned better. That was in my infant collecting days. I buy them all the time for a couple dollars. Live and learn.
