DRYING AGENTS AND CONTAINERS.

Hello to you all. I am asking what drying agents you use for fibrous needles. I use silica gel mainly, which can be re-heated carefully in a microwave oven to rejuvenate it. I found a small honey jar 2.5 inches tall, and 2.25 inches diameter, and placed inside it, on top of the drying agent, a basket made of zinc gauze with the needles inside. I find this works very well.

Ditto, silica gel myself.

Same thing, only my jar is stainless steel.

Wouldn't salt also be a good drying agent, and cheap/easy to replace?
