I just agreed to a package deal of 11 machines , mostly Edisons...One of these looks like a Standard , but nowhere does it say "Standard"..It has what seems to me a 2-4 minute drive . It has a Model H reproducer . Last patent date is Nov 17 1903..Serial No. S352296. It has the plain "Edison" script decal , with no markings on the lid/cover...Any ideas on this mystery....Photos are not available at this time as my camera and computer are not talking to each other.......thanks Steve [Whoopinola] Phillips

The Standards went through a number of minor model changes. If not a Standard, the only thing that remotely resembles a Standard is a Fireside, unless you have some weird British Edison-Bell model.

I've got 2 Standards that both say "Standard" on the data plate...the one in question says nothing but patent licence info and patent dates....all indicating "Thomas Edison East Orange N.J...could this be one sold through the International Correspondence Schools?

The "S" at the start of your serial number indicates your machine is a "Standard". If it had been a "Home", the serial number would start with "H".
None of my external horn Edisons state the actual model on the data plate because they are Model B's or earlier.
