found a nice Victor 1 or so tag says ( 12 x 12 inch base ) it had a bent elbow so I order a new elbow from Mr. Sitko and a new horn from Wyatt's . well the elbow came and it was much smaller than the other one. new one will drop into the bracket all the way to the tonearm. Guessing bracket is a Vic II but it fits perfectly see photo. is it a Victor I

The early Victor I machines used the little bracket. the late machines with the 10" turntable shared the same 1 ⅜" elbow with the Victor II machines.

The low end Victor horn machines were made for a long time and went through major changes. As Uncle Vanya wrote, the late big case Vic 1 shared parts with the Vic II. It would pay to have some reference books like "The Victor Data Book" to avoid mistakes. It looks like you have a very nice black & brass horn and you should consider having your old elbow straightened. I would suggest going to your local music store that sells brass instruments. They should be able to point you towards someone who repairs brass instruments. It should be easy to repair the elbow. Jerry
