I'm searching ebay every day, but maybe members of the forum have some polish records.

I have one Polish record....but it very strange indeed. It's a one-sided victor scroll label but see if you can spot the difference.

Right !! But 33 ⅓ didn't come out until 1948...long after the scroll label.

No, not entirely true. RCA Victor program transcription discs were at 33 ⅓ and were made from 1931-1940. See the Collector's Guide to Victor Records pp. 190-193.

Having said that, the transcriptions were not issued on the scroll label, so you definitely have an oddity.

Victor also made some 33 ⅓ rpm records in 10" size for home use back in 1931, but for some reason they did not catch on. I think they may have required special needles. I have seen and heard a few, but never have managed to buy one.

The other odd thing about that record pictured above is that it is single-sided at such a late date.

I've played it on my stanton turntable at 33 ⅓ and it plays well. I was afraid to play it with a steel needle. Visually, it's identical to an early 78.

I also collect early Polish recordings, for example from Janina Korolewicz–Wayda, Salomea Kruszelnicka, Jadwiga Dębicka, Irene Abendroth, Adam Didur and Wladyslaw Florjanski.
