I Ain't Superstitious

I need some help on the discography of "I Ain't Superstitious" a song written by bluesman Willie Dixon and first recorded by Howlin' Wolf in 1961. It appears that the original recording was a 45rpm record, Chess 1823. Was this also recorded on a 78rpm record?

I collect the wind-up machines, but I listen to music in every format. I really enjoy having original 78 recordings of the early blues records that were subsequently covered by modern blues and rock musicians. I love playing the original T-Bone Walker Black & White recording of "Stormy Monday" for my musician friends.

Any help is appreciated.

If it was first released in 1961, then it would not have been on 78 in the US. The 78 format was completely dead by the end of 1959 in the US, with most major labels stopping production in 1957 or 1958. Other countries produced 78's for another year or 2, and few, notably India, kept going into the 1960s. Beatles records were pressed on 78s in India until 1967 or 1968 and are highly collectible.

You're not going to find any Chess 78 from 1961. Sorry.
