build an edison cylinder shaver

using a damaged fireside bed plate and mandrel, i built a very inexpensive but efficient shaver for shaving cylinders. i used an old sewing machine motor and a lamp dimmer. crude but effective, it works rather well, cost less then thirty bucks to build it...
