Reinstalling a Victrola tonearm

I am rebuilding a Victrola 35. This is my first attempt at working on anything like this. When I started I removed the tonearm before flipping the board over to work on the motor. I wound up with some small balls - as in ball bearing. I knew as soon as I saw them that I was in trouble. Now I am at the reassembly part of the project. I can't get the little balls back in place. I'm hoping that there is a way to do this that I can't figure out. Any suggestions?

I am assuming you haven't lost the bearings. There should be a seperator ring in the bearing space with notches to seperate and locate the balls. Smear some grease in bearing area, this will help to hold/"glue" the bearings in place while you insert the tone arm.

Thanks, I got it. Definitely a struggle though. I'm thinking that the next time the tone arm stays on
