I was wondering how I should take the tonearm off the back bracket on a Victor. I guess I'll have to remove the sort of steering wheel shaped pivot point on top of the back bracket so the shaft can come out but I have no clue on how to do so without messing anything?

Leo, There's a spring-loaded pin that pushed upward on the tone arm at the lower elbow. Simply press the pin downward with a small screwdriver and it should disengage from the tone arm.
