These slips were from NOS wrapping for Gold Moulded cylinders. Unfortunately, the cylinders were smashed to pieces, but these are still in good condition. Apparently, you were supposed to cut out the label from these slips and paste it to the top of a cylinder box. I didn't know it worked that way, but it would help to explain why so many of those old cylinder boxes are missing their top labels.

They are from a lot of 12 cylinders that I bought on eBay some time ago and only 2 cylinders survived. Here is a list of slips for sale:

#3203 - Great condition, no creases or tears

#8128 - Great condition, no creases or tears

#8303 - Some creases, good condition, no tears

#8404 - Has folds, creases, small 3mm tear on the side, good color

#8428 - Has a fold, some creases, a ⅝" tear on the side, good color.

#8462 - Great condition, no creases or tears

#8623 - Has a small 2mm tear on the right side, a few creases,

#8624 - Great condition, no crease or tears, NO LONGER AVAILABLE

#8652 - Good condition, some light creasing, has a small rip in the middle where a broken shard poked it

#8654 - Good condition, has a 4 mil oval scrape in the middle on front, some light creasing, no tears

These all want to roll up somewhat, probably after years of being wrapped around a cylinder.

Let me know if you need any of these listed and, as I have no idea what they might be worth, what they're worth to you. I can send scans if you wish.

Good luck! Cliff

These are still available. The whole bunch could be had for $50 and I'll include the cotton wrapping that came with the cylinders. A couple even have the wax paper wrapping mostly intact.

No extra charge for shipping to U.S. address. Shipping cost outside the U.S. will be based on a 2 pound package.
