My Edison DD C-19

Hey folks,

I picked this up Thursday from George P. He helped me get it home and even set it up for me. It needs very little; a little joint reglue on the bottom left cabinet upright, a key and the usual cleaning/maintenance deal that I shall perform as soon as I finish my Amberola D X renovation in the "lab". He even threw in some records for me, the sound is loud and clear, and everything works as it should! :)

My small collection has continued to steadily expand and now I have 2 "flagship" bookends in the dining room; a VV-XVI and an Edison C-19!

Just had to share,

Fran

Fran, Thanks for sharing. You can't do much better than having a C-19 and a VV-XVI standing guard in your house. Both are elegant machines. Jerry

Fran, I'm pleased that you're happy with the C-19. It looks great in your dining room. I know it has found a good home! :)

I always thought that the C 19s are really handsome, elegant machines. Just like the design.

Very nice Fran! What does the decal say on the Edison? Those are always a nice plus.

Fran that sure is a beautiful C-19!
I plan on getting one of those, when one
pops up at a decent price and in decent shape.

Been close a few times, but so far have not found
the right one yet. Very nice to see that you
have such a pristine example of one.

I bet it sounds every bit as good as it looks,
and then some!

Thank you! This is the first machine for me to have any sales/distribution identification with it. I'm pretty excited!

Thank you, Chuck, I'm really happy with it! I never thought I would like a DD player, as my VV-XVI was my "first love" for floor model disc playing machines. Everything about the Edison impresses me. The quietness and smoothness of the motor especially! Both machines have great merits individually, but clearly, Edison knew what he was doing. :)

What really blows me away though, is that my 17 y/o daughter actually loves the cabinet! That alone makes this machine so much more dear to me. :D

Fran,

You should show them where the other dealer decal is! ;)
