The Edison C reproducer additional weight

I remember reading that the holes in the C reproducer weight were so that more weight could be attached but that it was decided that too much wear would result.

My question is whether or not the additional weight was ever sold separately or if anyone has somehow gotten a hold of one. I would like to see what they looked like and, if anyone has used one, how it affected the sound.

I cant remember for sure but I think they were used to increase the volume of the cylinder, but I don't think they were very popular so I imagine many were lost or thrown away, I have never seen one, only read about it

I figured that they were to increase volume/reduce blast. I guess we are in the same boat, not seeing one in person. Looks like no one else here has seen one either!
