Cleaning a Edison stylus

Hey all
I use to use this on the stylus of my modern TT Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
I thought it does such a nice job on that maybe it will get that last little bit of schmutz off my Edison stylus that my brush and cleaner won't So using my jewelers loupe I gently cleaned it and wow beautifully cleaned all debris is gone. I should have taken a before and after picture but I suck at that stuff. Any body else use this method?
