Edison diamond disc reproducer rebuild

I just received my first edison diamond disc a c-250 but the diamond is either worn or chipped. I am aware of the problems with the diamonds from EXPERT and being a young collector I cannot afford to be buying multiple styluses so I think I will send it out to someone who can replace the stylus and if something goes wrong I can send it back. So is these a company that can rebuild my reproducer and have a warenty on the stylus.

I have had several of my diamond disk reproducers rebuilt by John Nagy. Use the search function on this site and put in his name for other posts on him. He does a great job.

Tom,
I have used John Nagy (phonographs.org) and Steven Medved. Steven takes longer but is a perfectionist and very busy, so he takes a little longer (this is his hobby, not his business). John Nagy is excellent as well and I had my repro back in less than 2 weeks. Both should be listed in the links section of this site, and if not, a quick search will give you the contact info.
Good Luck!
Matt

Steven can be reached by:

If your concerned about new stylus it may be that something else is in the works.. I would not get an Expert one.. I have gone though 7 and none held up, and several were bad from day one.
