Auction finds

Went to Pennsylvania today to pick up an Edison Model 50 and 120 cylinders I won at an auction. The machine is complete and the reproducer works great. The case just needs a little cleaning up. Oh yeah, it also needs a grill. That should be easy. The cylinders were all 4 minute. 90 were blue amberolas and about 30 were Indestructables. There were also several 5000 series., Two Christmas titles, as well as several other good titles. Overall it was a great deal. Didn't win the cabinet. They made a mistake on my absentee bid and gave it to another bidder although I was the high bidder. Oh well this stuff happens at auctions. Last year I bought 5 Edison machines at Cardens Auction and when I picked them up another bidder had taken a nice Standard model A with an Automatic reproducer in it that I won and left a shabby Standard with a broken model C reproducer in it place.

Nice outfit. The Edison company really hit the nail on the head when they introduced the Amberola 30, 50, and 75. Lots of bang for the buck. Jerry Blais

Just finished going the rest of the 120 cylinders and found a few more nice surprises to add to the list above. They are all very clean and play great. There were more fox trots that I didn't bother listing.
