I know a collector who has a Regina coin op machine. I am seeking more information about these fascinating machines.

As for the 'Reginaphone': as far as I know, that label was applied only to the disc talking machine/music box combinations, in collaboration with Columbia. I have not heard of or seen any coin-op examples of this…kendphono wrote:There are two machines that Regina made that could be the subject of this discussion. One is the Regina Hexaphone, as mentioned. The other is the Reginaphone. This is a tabletop Hexaphone that precedes the Hexaphone that is more commonly seen. The Reginaphone is quite rare and I don't believe there are more than about a dozen around. I'll attach a picture of both. One picture shows the table top. The other two show the Hexaphone cabinet and a restored works.

Is that a Circassian Walnut Louis XVI Diamond Disc machine that I spy inext to the Hexaphone? It would make a wonderful featured machine. (Wink, wink. Nudge, nudge.... Say no more, say no more!)kendphono wrote:There are two machines that Regina made that could be the subject of this discussion. One is the Regina Hexaphone, as mentioned.
