Very beat - but still could be a good deal for the money to someone who has case parts - or someone who wants the sound and doesn't care about looks.

I would grab it for parts if nothing else. You can't really tell from the seller's picture how it really looks.

Typical blurry cellphone pictures. It must have sold, or the seller had second thoughts, because the ad has been pulled, and it hasn't been re-listed.

From what I could see, in addition to the smashed grille, the large doors were missing, and there was possible veneer damage to the sides. Still, as you note, it would be worth it for parts, especially if the motor or sound box are salvageable. The older style tonearm bracket is also a plus.

I wish people would learn to use a real camera to take pictures for listings. I also wish they would learn how to frame properly, eliminate the background trash and (gasp!) edit if necessary. Even moreso, I wish they would include pictures in listings. There is nothing worse than a listing which contains no information and no pictures.
Some years ago, I was selling quite frequently on ebay. The quality and quantity of my pictures was very important to me and, I believe, helped me to maximize sale prices. Very often I would take 10-20 pictures, pick the best ones then Photoshop them for best presentation but never in an attempt to mislead potential buyers in any way.
