FOR SALE: Edison Amberola V (Mahogany) - Sold

I was recently lucky enough to find a very nice Amberola V in oak, which means my mahogany one is now surplus.
As experienced collectors know, the Amberola V has a very fine mechanism which runs smoothly and quietly. They were only made for a very limited time, before the fire at the Edison factory. They are excellent for listening to Blue Amberols, and include an auto stop mechanism (unlike almost all other Amberolas).
As you can see from the photos, this one has some cosmetic issues. I mainly use it for listening. It runs like a champ, very smoothly and with no flutter. It has never been tampered with mechanically, and it includes the often-missing damper spring on the flywheel. I have always felt that wood is easier to fix than metal, so the mechanics are always the first priority for me. If you want to try a woodworking project this is a perfect machine for you. Or if you just want to listen this is also a great machine for you.
If cost is a consideration, and you already have a fine Diamond B reproducer, I can sell it without the reproducer for less cost. Interesting trades are also welcome...
Please take a look at the photos and let me know if you're interested.
