I am considering offering a Mae Starr Phonograph Doll to the members here on the Forum. The doll was one of two doll items given to my Mother by my Father several years ago. The doll is still sitting encased in a large china cabinet at the farm where the majority of my dad's things remain. I do not have any good photos of it, as there is a ton of old furniture in front of the cabinet blocking my ability to get a good shot at it. I did find the description of the doll that my dad kept. The doll is near perfect condition, with her original clothing. She also has the original total complement of 6 cylinders that came with her. If it were not for keeping the other doll item that was given to my Mother by my Father, I would not part with this doll...as I doubt that one will be found in as good of condition. If there is interest in this doll, I will be able to clear a path and get to her and bring her home within the next 1-2 weeks.
