I only have about 3 Victor records, yesterday one of these broke when I picked it up, so I now have 2 and a half.

Anyways, I had an idea to make a guitar truss rod cover and here is the result!:

: Starting to be shaped

: Installed

Might need a bit more finishing off but I think it's not too bad!
A word to the wise...melting 78's smell horrid!

After a bit more shaping to get it more symmetrical:
