It's been listed before. I noticed it last year, it doesn't have the Diamond Disc reproducer it needs. Instead it has one of those adapters for 78's. That would be expensive to replace.

Some pics for posterity:

It looks like it's in nice condition...

Inquire if there's another reproducer that comes-with ( ie: the Diamond Disc Reproducer ).

That lateral reproducer is worth between $50 & $100 by itself.

You can probably find a decent DD reproducer for $75-$150, depending in the source.

That probably puts it at the ceiling of what the machine is worth, but if you don't have to go far to get it, I think it is worth spending a little more on a machine that has always lived in a kind environment.

For what all that is worth...

I agree with Frank. That's a pretty nice example. The reproducer won't be that hard to find, this later verison has the oxidized finish you find on many machines. My W-250 has the earlier oxidized finish used only on a few models which is much harder to find, but I've even seen those. I paid $300 for my W-250 because it was so well preserved, so this isn't horrible by any means. They're rather imposing machines, but I really like them.

That is the cheapest W 19 I've seen offered anywhere. Machines vary considerably depending on region. Down in Texas, I would consider that machine for $250 to be a steal. If it was near me, I'd buy it. Machines were originally much more common in the industrialized North, and to this day are still cheaper to buy there. DD reproducers are easy enough to come by.

I agree. Here in Texas the prices seem to be higher. The DD reproducer may be behind the grill so be sure to look there. When I purchased my W 250 a few years back (it was also listed on CL for $350.00) it was pictured with the 78 adapter. I asked the seller if the original DD reproducer came with the machine and was told that the reproducer pictured was the only one they had. I almost didn't go look at it. It is the early model with the drawer and oxidated hardware and I figuired the oxidated DD reproducer would be a little hard to find and expensive. When I went to look at it, I found the DD reproducer in the wooden holder just behind the grill. Pays to look if it's close.

I would consider this a good buy. Goodness knows I have paid more for less.

Ditto. More than once, in fact...
