WANTED: Shaver/ Gear Cover For Early 2-Clip Standard

I would like to find a shaver and gear cover for an early 2-clip Edison Standard phonograph.

If a two clip has a gear cover, is it the same as any two minute Standard gear cover? If so, I have one. Jerry

The earliest 2-clip Standards had no gear covers. Check the Frow reference, I think the first 10 or 15 thousand machines had no gear covers. Are you sure about this?

The gear covers for suitcase Standards differ from those found on Model A Standards in "New Style" cabinets.

In general, the earliest 2-clip Standards lack gear covers, but they do pop up unexpectedly. I've seen at least one 3-digit example with a gear cover. It's possible that some were retrofitted by dealers at customers' requests.
