We should keep tabs on this one, and if it goes for a good price, we should pass that info along to the e-bay "Butcher of the Philadelphia"...

Sadly, The Butcher of Philadelphia would say the fact that this machine has lingered on Craig's list for a couple of weeks only goes to prove his point: that there is more money to be made from chopping up complete machines and selling off the parts. The Butcher made $528, so now he has a strong incentive to do the same thing to another intact machine.
Such is the world we live in sometimes, alas.
Best wishes, Mark

As an owner of two Schuberts, I can see that this Schubert Edisonic has had its finish stripped. Even the inside of the cabinet has been stripped as you can see that the EDISONIC logo has been sanded off on the inside back of the cabinet. Also the stylus on the Edisonic reproducer might be worn flat. Just a warning to potential buyers.

Just saw this Edison photograph on eBay. He shows his tinfoil machine and has an Edisonic Schubert in a nice case of product placement.
