VERY interesting but "needs some work" worries me. These machines are a pain to work with. Though, this is the first I've seen with an internal horn.

I saw that one as well but something isn't right about that cabinet, it looks refinished.
The horn is actually in the top (lid).

You're correct. Someone has messed with it already. Note the brand new felt.

I went to see it. It is in really good condition (though it will take some tinkering to get some sound out of it ) The cabinet has not been refinished. The seller told me he was about to gut it. " It will make a really nice record box" he said. I quickly stuck $120 in his hand and took it home! I couldn't just leave it there.

Good job saving it! Please keep us updated on your progress. Maybe a featured phonograph at some point?

SMH. How many of these machines exist?? Get a milk crate, or order a box from Bags Unlimited, for heaven's sake!
