Here are some pics of my W-19 I purchased a few weeks ago,
I cleaned it up (nothing major)basically just polished it
and put a new grill cloth on it and bought a nice set of
reproducers off ebay for 300.00, they are 101 yrs old
according to the dates on the 78 reprod. and the DD box.
It plays very well, but for some reason I can't seem to
upload a short video for you all to see, so sorry for that.
I would still like to know what year this unit was made, it
has only 2 weights on the govenor spindle and no 10 or 12
inch buttons. it has a two spring motor.

Looks great! May I ask what cloth you used for your grill? Mine has nothing but shreds of the original cloth left and I haven't found anything as close to it, but what you've got looks almost exactlt like what I need!

Sean, here is a link to the ebay seller I got my grill cloth from,
it's very nice and it comes with instruction for putting it on, I
have one small wrinkle, because I got ahead of myself and didn't
follow his instructions all the way.

Thanks Fran...It turned out to be one of my best buys
and I'm really glad I made the trip to get it, well
worth the money. It looks much better in person.

Gene,
According to Frow, the W-250 became the W-19 in April 1919, Cover locks for the cabinet were cut out from November 1920. Grills silk backed from December 1920, and the beading eliminated. Varnish finished from 1926. The model continued to be available until August 1927. It's a very nice machine. Hope this helps, Jan

A very nice machine!
Given the info, your example is probably from 1919-1920 (I don't know whether they continued the serial numbers from the W-250, but that is certainly possible).
