I'll try relisting this machine as somewhat more of a whole.
When I bought it from out in the middle of Texas it was quite a nice machine that needed fairly minor work, however, on the way here it got infected with a bad case of 'Fed-EX syndrome' which worked wonders with the sellers lovely 'minimalistic' packaging job ..... so anyways, I am selling it as a parts machine or a restoration project for someone with the parts in order to complete it.

I did replace some broken parts on the motor and re attached the corner which broke off the bed plate, but now the motor runs well, the bedplate is complete with exception to a reproducer and a carriage lift lever, the case and lid are acceptable and original, I do have all the screws etc., just a shame about the shipping damage.

Thanks to the seller's and Fed -Ex's ignorance I got really ripped off so I know I won't get back what I paid for it but I am asking for reasonable offers for either the entire item or any parts you may require.

I'm curious why you don't finish the restoration yourself? The Home is a common model and parts show up on eBay all the time due to sellers who part them out.

I've had it for about 2 years and have never gotten around to repairing it, I have already spent to much on it as it is because I got ripped off by the seller originally and I have a Edison Fireside which I am going to repair so rather than having 2 projects on the go I'd rather just sell this one and get my fireside running.

Regarding the Home machine. I have a need for a spring barrel, governer with weights and one of the drive gears plus a couple of smaller parts. If you would part out the machine please contact me off line at [email protected] and we can visit from there. Thanks
