Hi everyone, Does anyone know of a good source for acoustic 78's in Western PA or Northeast Ohio? I live northwest of Pittsburgh. I've found a gazillion 78's from the 1940's, but I like to play dance band music from the 1920's on my Columbia Grafonola floor model. They seem to be pretty scarce around here. Any help will be appreciated! Joe D.

Jerry's (of Jerry's Records in Squirrel Hill) son, Willie, specializes in 78s. That's about the only place I know of offhand here in Pittsburgh.

There is a record store in Ravenna Ohio, north on one of the cross streets in downtown (possibly Chestnut but the area is so small you'll find it in minutes). The 78s are in his second room. Not necessarily cheap but he will deal on sides he does not believe to be "collectible" (i.e. popular and dance tunes of the 20s).
