I've watched a couple of these recently Shawn, and found them interesting. A lot of work goes into this!

Thanks You. It does take a lot of work. People think I am lying. I had one person who wanted hundreds of them and they wanted them now, and when I told them how long the process takes, they got irate with me. How much work, does it take... The wax takes from 5-7 hours to make. It takes 2-3 hours to make the initial batch, and then about 2 hours annealing the wax in two sessions you let it heat up and cool overnight twice. Molding. It takes from 16-25 min. for the core to be removed and another equal amount of time to be pulled from the tube. You must then let them set a few days, and trim them. Trimming takes about 16 minutes. They are then rough shaven down from 2.4" in diameter to 2.23" in diameter. The next part is what has collectors scratching there heads, they must sit a minimum of 14 days to cure, but 30 days is ideal. In fact I do not shave them down to the final 2.195=2.170" final diameter until they are purchased or recorded on. Oh it takes about 15-30 minutes to shave the cylinder down to size.
