A "rare" cylinder, indeed... I have the first Beatles cylinder, but wish I had found this Elvis before it sold.

There are some guys around who have made very good dubs of popular records onto cylinders-but this is probably from some hobbyist with a recorder

The insanity is the sale price of $226.50... Shawn Borri can make you anything you want on brown wax for under $50...

Not one of my records, this one has some mold spots on it indicating that it was probably recorded by some hobbyist, maybe even in the 50's- 70's judging from the spots. I have only made single spirals since late 2011 and double spiral since 2013, so not mine., It would be interesting if they would have uploaded it playing. And yes I make records on my blanks for 35.00 each in the U.S. shipping included.

Actually, Elvis took a trip to a time machine, because he heard Edison was paying big money to record big time stars. He wanted to get an exclusive contract with Edison, because he payed a lot more than Berliner. This is the brown wax era, so it was a choice between cylinders and Berliners.
